Maintenance Technician (m/f/x) - TEKEVER UAS
TEKEVER, the market leader in Unmanned Maritime Surveillance, are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for fixed wing Unmanned Aircraft Systems as part of the Operations Department.
As a Maintenance Technician with us you will be working within a highly skilled team to carry out intelligence driven mission scenarios and ensuring the delivery of information to our customers all over the world.
It will be your responsibility to maintain the systems to continue to provide effective operations with a world class product. On a daily basis, you will be maintaining TEKEVERs UAVs ranging from 5kg-180kg and making sure that missions are carried out safely.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining TEKEVER systems
- Controlling the payload using the GCS
- Managing the aircraft status and servicing schedule
- Ensuring the safe conduct of all repairs whilst deployed
- Supporting the RPIC in all flight activities (Pre and Post)
- Monitoring and managing your own rest and medical status
- Being an ambassador for flight safety at all times
- Remaining familiar with all System documentation, operational procedures, local flying orders
Requirements:
- Ability to deploy worldwide on an operational cycle to support the team carrying out mission flying.
- Background in avionics or mechanical engineering
- Aviation knowledge including Ground School
- A1 and A3 certificates
- Well-organized, good team player, problem-solving approach
- Approachable, diplomatic and charismatic
- Good level of Maths & Physics
- High level of situational awareness
Also good to have:
- Previous maintenance technician knowledge on other systems MALE/HALE UAS Platform Certified (H900/H450/WK/MQ)
- Flight Radiotelephony Operating License
- Military flying/ maintenance including instructional duties
- Overseas Operational maintenance experience
- Multiple years’ experience maintaining UAS
- Multiple UAS Deployments
- A2 Certificate of Competence
- UAS Industry Knowledge (Aircraft/Sensors/Systems)
