TEKEVER, Europe’s leading provider of AI-powered unmanned aerial systems, will be participating in a high-level technology demonstration on September 8th, ahead of DSEI 2025. The event will bring together key government officials from the Five Eyes nations (UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand), highlighting the increasing collaboration among these allies in leveraging cutting-edge technologies from trusted partners like TEKEVER to address shared security challenges and enhance their response to increasingly complex threats.
Held in London the day before the start of one of the world’s leading defence and security exhibition, TEKEVER’s showcase will feature live demonstrations of AR3 and AR5 systems, underscoring their operational relevance and life-saving role in some of the most complex and sensitive missions — including TEKEVER’s long-standing operational support to the UK Government on its effort to strengthen sovereign defence capabilities and build an agile, collaborative, and mission-driven Defence and Safety ecosystem in Europe.
“We’re proud to be supporting the Home Office and showcasing the capabilities of TEKEVER’s systems to some of our closest allies”, said Ricardo Mendes, CEO of TEKEVER: “This demonstration highlights not only the technological maturity of our systems, but also the depth of collaboration between government and industry in protecting borders, saving lives, and staying ahead of evolving threats.”
The AR3 and AR5 systems are already operational in support of the UK’s border surveillance missions, including long-term deployments over the English Channel. From detecting life-threatening crossings to supporting prosecutions of people smugglers, TEKEVER’s drones, its AI-enabled sensors and real-time data links, are central to the UK’s intelligence-led approach to defence and security.
The demonstration builds on a deep and trusted partnership with the Home Office, with whom TEKEVER works closely on a daily basis to protect the UK’s borders and deliver actionable intelligence where and when it matters most.
The tech demo takes place just ahead of TEKEVER´s participation in DSEI 2025, where we’ll be engaging with key partners and showcasing its latest autonomous capabilities. In parallel, TEKEVER continues to advance its £400 million OVERMATCH programme, a long-term investment in the UK’s defence ecosystem focused on accelerating AI, autonomy, and sovereign capability. As part of OVERMATCH, the recent acquisition of the West Wales Airport is already transforming the new site into a test and evaluation hub for next-generation unmanned systems, supporting UK and allied missions in complex operations led by the Home Office.
In an era where borders are tested by transnational threats, complex sociopolitical uncertainties and emerging technologies, TEKEVER keeps demonstrating our ability to keep up with the agility, autonomy, and cooperative spirit needed to ensure collective security through effective mission execution and sustained operational advantage. Working in close alignment with governmental agencies and private companies across the globe, TEKEVER is pioneering a new generation of mission-ready systems that detect threats earlier, respond faster, and preserve life on land and at sea.
